Daido Old Yamamoto Family Residence
An old Japanese-style house showing the Yamato-mune construction style formerly used primarily in the Kawachi district. Characterized by the thatching of the tiled roof, it is a nationally registered cultural asset. It faces the Takenouchi Kaido, with signposts and Ise lanterns remaining around the vicinity. It once flourished as a key traffic point for economic activities and pilgrimages, and still conveys shades of its past to the present. It is open every weekend and on holidays (excluding New Year holidays), allowing visitors to view the inside (fee required).
