Nunose-Jinja Shrine
Susanoo no Mikoto and other deities are worshipped here. The main hall is designated as a tangible cultural property of Osaka, and is of an early Edo-period ikkensha (one bay wide) nagare-zukuri (flowing style) construction. There is also a Kano-school lion portrait. The six "Eight Picturesque Sights of Nunose" inside the hall of worship are tangible cultural properties of Matsubara. The shrine also holds an ema exhibit where ema prayers offered by prominent cultural figures decorate the space. The "koi-mikuji" love fortunes designed in collaboration with contemporary artist Hiroko Ichihara are popular.
