Inabuchi Tanada (Rice terrace)

The Inabuchi Tanada terraced rice fields were selected as one of Japan's top 100 terraced rice fields. The landscape of the terraced rice field consists of about 300 paddies and plots, forming a part of Asuka Village's beautiful traditional scenery. There are events held in each season, including: spring's "Renge Matsuri" lotus festival, summer's "Hotaru no Yube" firefly event, and autumn's "Higanbana Matsuri" flower festival and "Shukakusai" harvest festival. This tranquil and nostalgic location is also known as a great cycling spot.
