One of the world's Three Great Tombs
Japan's largest keyhole-shaped mouded tomb is 486m long, with the square front part 307m wide, and is called one of the world's three great tombs alongside the Great Pyramid of Giza and the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. Visitors will feel its mystical ambience from the worship place at the front of the tomb. The Mozu Mounded Tomb Group, which include the Nintoku-tenno-ryo Kofun, spread 4km in all directions, currently consisting of 44 tombs.
