Okuda Lotus Gathering Event
The lotus gathering event is held every July 7th at Okuda's Suteshinoike pond. In addition to being an event in the sequence of Yoshinoyama Kimpusenji Temple's "Renge-e" offerings, it also has close ties to the legend of the "one-eyed frog" surrounding legendary mystic En no Gyoja's mother Torame, and is designated as one of Nara Prefecture's intangible folk cultural properties.
